To better reflect the diversity of CheckHub use cases, the concept of Candidate has been replaced by Contact.
This change makes CheckHub more generic and applicable to many different contexts, such as document collection, onboarding, compliance, customer or partner workflows.
What you should know:
- Only the naming has changed: Candidate → Contact
- All existing data is preserved
- No action is required from your side
This evolution does not impact how you work with your data, but makes the platform more flexible and future-proof.
What about our API?
There are no changes to the CheckHub API.
Both the current version and the upcoming version of CheckHub use the same API. To preserve full compatibility with existing integrations, we decided to keep the term “candidate” in all API endpoints.
As a result:
- Existing integrations will continue to work without any modification
- No API migration is required
- The rollout of the new version will not impact your current API usage
