When creating an editable form, you might need to insert dynamic content that remains uneditable by your contact. This could be for:
- Contracts with start date, reference, and daily rate
- Car loans with vehicle details
- Legal policies with reference details
These read-only dynamic contents are called "mentions" in our forms.
Types of Mentions You Can Use
- Contact Details: firstname, lastname, email, mobile, reference, etc.
- Custom Fields: Any custom field you use to store information in the contact
- Assignee Details: firstname, lastname, position, email, signature, etc.
- Company Details: company name
- Account Details: name & reference
- Form Details: form name or any editable form field present in it
- Date: long or short format
How to Use a Mention
Option 1:
- Start by typing "@".
- A list of supported options will appear. Select the appropriate one.
Β
Option 2:
- Select the text you want to replace with a mention.
- Click the "@" icon in the menu bar to choose the appropriate mention.
Once inserted, a mention appears as a reference but will be dynamically replaced during actual use of the form.
Using mentions is a powerful way to personalize content and reduce the number of versions you need to maintain.
